District Profiles Page (Click)
Starting with the August DCO Meeting, held August 8th 2010, as part of Quarterly Training, two DCOs will present a presentation profiling their District. As the various profiles are presented they will be posed here. The next two Districts the be featured, in November, will be District 16 (Carson) and Zebras (EOB).
Each District has it’s own unique make-up. This is a good way to find out about each. You should find each profile interesting and informative.
Carson Community Night Out
The City of Carson and LASD Carson Station 16 is hosting their annual Community Night Out on Wednesday August 11, 2010.We’ve been asked to assist with some traffic control and other communications needed for this event. This event will run from 1700 to 2200 hrs approximately. Snacks will be provided for all participants. If you can assist the Station 16 group with this please let Joe, R-001 at jlanphen@ca.rr.com or 310-328-0817 know. Parking at Carson City Hall parking lot is recommended
WA6ZTR on Edison Power
The WA6ZTR repeater is operating on Edison power and can be used for normal operations.
