If you chose to volunteer, make sure to state you are with LAC-DCS. They need to vet all of the volunteers. They said LAPD and LASD volunteers will get first priority. If they require a contact person for LAC-DCS member vetting you can give them my information (Sgt. Steve De Jong, 323-523-3400).
